Lila gets one bath a week – on the weekends. I usually bathe her in the kitchen sink, but today I decided to try taking a bath with her. She loved it! Well, she was actually angry at first so I let her nurse for about 2 minutes and then she was fine. She’s the perfect size so that if she sits on my stomach, the water goes to right below the top of her shoulders. At one point, she slammed her...

My baby girl is 8 weeks old today! How did that happen?! In celebration, Lila and I went to the park and we took some pics ... 
Dave’s Aunt Brenda made Lila some cute stuff and we recieved it yesterday. It’s an adorable little sweater and beanie. How cute is that?!

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are my busiest days. I wake up sometime between 5:30 and 6:00a depending if Lila wakes up before my alarm. Then I feed Lila for as long as she likes. This can be anywhere from 15-45 minutes. She generally falls right back to sleep. This is when I scoot her next to Dave and get ready for the day. Somewhere between 7 and 7:30, I change Lila’s diaper and feed her... 
We got some! Yesterday, we took a 2 hour nap, then slept from about 9p to 1a, then from 2a to 8a. Oh my goodness, it was wonderful! Both of us were in desperate need of that sleep. As a result, today was a good day. I’m still sick, but since I’m not exhausted as well, it’s not nearly as bad. I hope sleeping goes just as well... 
Well, after a good stretch of a lot of sleep, we had a couple hard days.
Two nights ago was terrible. Lila was fussy all night long. I was going to try letting her sleep in her bassinet again, but that wasn’t going to happen since she never entered a state of deep sleep. She was fussy all night long. Sometimes she would nurse and calm down, sometimes she wouldn’t. She wasn’t screaming...
