Despite the alert, happy look on her face, she’s actually extremely tired here. She’s been very much anti-nap since Grammy and Grampsy have been here. But she went to bed early tonight, so hopefully that makes up for... 
Lila had her first solid food yesterday! Banana! It was a lot of fun and she loved it. Dave fed her while I took pictures and my mom took video. I couldn’t believe how much of it she ate. It was half a banana mixed with breast milk and she almost ate it all! We’ll be continuing to feed her banana for the next couple days before trying out a veggie

In celebration of Lila’s 6 month birthday, she had her first bite of solid food, today! We decided to go with banana… she loved it!

Can you believe that Lila is 6 months old today?! Crazy. Well, let’s go ahead and jump right into her new stats.
Weight: 14 pounds, 10 ounces – 25th percentile
Height: 25.75 inches – 50th percentile
Head Circumference: 16 ⅞ ; inches – 70th percentile
You may not remember, but she was in the 40th percentile for weight at her 4 month appointment. So she dropped 15% –... 
Lila is now too big and “locomotively advanced” to use the bassinet of her Pack ‘N Play and we put her in prison the playpen for the first time tonight. She has been playing happily in there for some time now....

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot my friends Kevin and Brenda yesterday. Kevin is in the Air Force and will be finished this week, so they wanted to get some shots of them in his uniform before it got packed away. He has been stationed here in Colorado, and he and Brenda will be moving back to California this weekend.
