I’m not joking when I say this was her idea. She came into the living room trying to put her undies on her head. After getting help from Daddy, she busted out laughing.

There’s a funny story to go with this one too. When I took her outside for her photo shoot, she wasn’t cooperating and was in a bad mood. Actually, she was hungry. Before coming inside, I tried to get her to stand in front of this bush one last time for a pic. She threw a fit, so we went inside and had breakfast.

Dave has been out of town for a few days, and I’m very happy with how Lila is doing. She got to “talk” to him on the phone a few times and she lit up with a big ol’ smile each time. Last night, Dave asked her if she liked her new Angry Birds, and she immediately ran off to collect them all. It was adorable.
Well, last night I was carrying Lila and when we passed Dave’s... 
When it was time for Lila’s lunch, I put her in her high chair and gave her a grilled cheese sandwich. I had also recently given her milk, so I went hunting for it.
After several minutes of searching, I couldn’t find it. So I decided to ask Lila.
Where’s your milk?
Lila responded with a swift point to the kitchen. I searched for a few more minutes with no luck. So this time I took... 
Lila created her own little masterpiece this evening. Isn’t it beautiful?

We had our first snow of the season, today, so I took Lila out to see what it’s all about.
The first thing she did was cry, lol. But I blame myself. I shouldn’t have put her in a spot that was so deep. I honestly didn’t realize how deep it was. Oops.
She eventually got used to it being around her and walking in shallow parts, but she never touched it with her... 
While eating dinner, tonight, Dave casually mentioned something about Lila eating fishes. He was talking to me, not Lila, and it was said in the middle of a sentence. But Lila sure as heck pick-ed it up and immediately pointed to the box of gold fish sitting on the counter!
We messed with her during the rest of dinner by saying “fishes” or “fish” in the middle of sentences and... 
As you can see, Lila has her own kitchen drawer. She is constantly adding toys to it and it cracks us up. What I find most interesting about it, is that she doesn’t have the ability to take anything out of the drawer, yet still likes to gather things in there. She’s very good too – she swiftly walks over, opens the drawer, puts in the items, and gently closes it before walking... 
We got her this chair right after we returned to Denver and she LOVES it! The first time she sat in and stood back up, she laughed her little butt off and did it over and over. The fact that she could go from sitting to standing in one motion was coolest thing since sliced... 
Today was Lila’s 1st birthday! I can’t believe it’s already been a year!
Unfortunately, we were both a little sick We wanted to invite some friends over, but I got really sick in the beginning of the week and Lila has had a mild cold (just a runny nose).
Even still, we took Lila to the mall so that she could play in the kid area – she had a blast! Most of the kids were bigger...
