Just a quick little video of my silly girl before bed. Just another example of how much she likes to point.
Point.... 
While eating dinner, tonight, Dave casually mentioned something about Lila eating fishes. He was talking to me, not Lila, and it was said in the middle of a sentence. But Lila sure as heck pick-ed it up and immediately pointed to the box of gold fish sitting on the counter!
We messed with her during the rest of dinner by saying “fishes” or “fish” in the middle of sentences and... 
Today was Lila’s 1st birthday! I can’t believe it’s already been a year!
Unfortunately, we were both a little sick We wanted to invite some friends over, but I got really sick in the beginning of the week and Lila has had a mild cold (just a runny nose).
Even still, we took Lila to the mall so that she could play in the kid area – she had a blast! Most of the kids were bigger... 
It’s been 6 days since Lila took her first steps and she’s improved sooo much. She now chooses to walk places instead of crawling. Not every time though. Crawling is still the faster option.
Any guesses on when she starts... 
Lila took her first steps yesterday and we’ve already had loads of fun practicing her new skill today! Check out the video to see my cute little walker in action.
I guess this officially makes her a toddler...

Lila’s favorite song is/was Dynamite by Taio Cruz. I say “was”, because she doesn’t get as excited for it anymore. I think we played it too much But she only acted the way she does in that video for Dynamite – no other song.

Here’s a cute video of Lila’s first time swimming. Ok, she not really swimming and it’s almost not any different from a bath… but whatever! Her first time in a pool! Ok ok, sort of a pool.
