We didn't make it to church :( It's been hard for us to go to church lately because we have the child who likes to sleep in until 11a. We tried, but it was way too late by the time we were ready to leave.
So I made this card instead :P

We had a nice family day today exploring the coast. These pics were taken at Ghost Tree on 17-mile Drive. 
Some wild mushrooms started growing out in the grass in front of our apartment and I couldn't help myself -- I had to take some photos. I think this one was the best. 
And what a better subject to test it on! :)
I haven't really played with it much, yet, but I *have* noticed a performance improvement. I'm going to try out the fake shallow depth of field thing next :)
